Sorry, this is very weak indeed. The concept of hotels is very nice but this looks like it was taken all on the same day, even the same hour. A project like this should be over years and years of traveling and staying in different hotels. Rushed job with no substance.

  2. I agree with Warren.

I don’t agree. I’m not convinced it was all taken on the same day. But even if it was, that’s the nature of a hotel visit for many people. They are on a business trip and their stay in any given hotel is brief and transient. This series conveys that feeling of anonymity, interchangebility and transience really well. I feel intrigued by the pictures. What hotel is this? Where is it? The pictures are just glimpses into someone’s experience of a stay in a hotel and the style is appropriate and consistent. Maybe the edit could have been tighter. But I like it.

Lazy work and uninspiring. Done to death by many travelling photographers who get back to their hotels and get bored and take photos of door handles and sinks etc, but at least some of them were good and stayed in interesting hotels. example see: nadavkander.com. work : rest/stay.

I agree with warren.. it had the potential to be a great series (thats why i clicked on it!), but it was an empty experience for me..

i will merely repeat what has been said before. Lazy, week, uninspiring.it wasted my time and i had to write this.
