The Giant lottery organized in the Palace’s room near Plan de Campagne’s commercial area, closed to Marseille (Southern France), gathers several hundred of regulars once a month. It’s a soft and egalitarian contest, where everyone is at the same level, whatever the social origin or religion may be. Neighbourhood’s lotteries create social link, it’s an individual and shared excitement at the same time. Most of the participants keep their lucky charm and only wait for one thing: the full lotto!
