Neglected by it's owner, left to fade away on an abandoned parking lot.
During decades it has seen it's share.
Memories and experiences wiped clean.
Captured within the boundaries of figures.
In the end still labeled as being nothing but a number.

I would have liked to have seen in the engine, inside the body, underneath - wires, tyres, rust all that.
Hi Matt,
I did shoot pictures of rust and stuff. But to me that was too obvious. Rust is rust, an engine is an engine, a tire is a tire and so on. Therefore I’ve made a careful selection of my images too tell the story. As the artist I feel these images give this car somewhat of a personality and still tell the story. Then again (see also my comment on my other series “Biter Sweet Lullaby”) it’s also very personal. Thanks anyway! Grtz
Hi,
I really like the first two images but the other two do not tell of a character of that particular car and are not as strong as the others. I think if the project was widened to a whole collection of cars or other neglected objects it would make for a more layered picture collection. Then on the other hand this has been done before…
