Evelin

Evelin is a lovely and warmhearted person. She has been through a lot but never stoped moving forward. Although she is an old lady, she enjoys going out and having fun - dancing gives her the energy she needs for the day, which otherwise is dominated by chaos and solitude.

This is totally surprising
One of the most intriguing works I have seen. Tony manages to capture all the things you normally wouldnt see and takes us on a trip into evelin’s strange and extraordinary world without discrediting her but only comforting us with her kind soul.
I like this one a lot but and agree with the comment Ailine gives. Intriguing and very intimate. Still it doesn’t get my vote. This contest is about “composing” a series. To me that means that every image you add to a series should make the series as a whole stronger. I think you should have made a better selection (which is a very difficult process). Imo some images weaken other excellent images thus weaken the series as a whole. Don’t get me wrong, I respect your work but no vote, sorry.
It is a heartbreaking and simultaneously uplifting story. Definitely linear and uses the right components to tell the story. I disagree wholeheartedly with Ronald’s statement.

I like this slice of evelin’s life. sad but it shows her as a woman who doesnt let age or circumstances bring her down.she doesnt just wait and let other people do the dancing. she gets up to dance too.
