Jaded & Harry are obviously talentless critics who must know how easy it is to criticise and how hard it is to create. Neither has a sufficient artistic gamut on which to call when criticising other’s work. They exhibit, through their comments, not what is lacking in the photography but what is lacking in their critical repertoire. I got something from the pictures and as far as I am concerned they gave me a feeling for what it was like to be there.
The work either moves you or not. Don uses most of his critical jargon critizing other critics for their subjective feelings. That is the sign of a bad critic itself.
It cannot help to give you a feeling of what it was like to be there because they are images of a cold beach, but the photography is not creative and execution is lazy.
