Waiting for the Holy Blood Procession

by Cindy Heijnen

Every year, two weeks after Whitsun a procession takes place in a small village called Boxmeer, in the south of Holland. Thirty-eight colorful groups homage the blood-wonder that took place six century's ago.
This year because of a rain-shower it didn't take place. This series shows the protegees waiting in the nursery school for the final decision.
