This series is inspired by the ancient aesthetic discipline of the IKEBANA floral arrangement.
The following images are of IKEBANAS that only exist as digital images.
The series is comprised of a variety of images taken from online databases of university biology departments.
They have been repurposed to investigate the relationship between artifice and nature.

Great work, really like it !
Light is sometimes poor, but as it comes from databases, you’re not responsible for it, maybe you could continue it by shooting yourself (now you got the exact name needed for the plants !).
btw, what about oval pictures or another ratio than 2:3 ?
