Sierra Leone is the country that hits last mark on the UN Development Index. What that means in human suffering is earmarked by the highest rates of mother and infants under five deaths in the world. One in eight women dies during pregnancy or giving birth, and 27% of the children dies before the age of five. These are statistics... But a picture paints more than a 1000 words... These are women that lost there babies just prior to taking these photos.
