In June 2009, I traveled to Peru's Cordillera Blanca range in order to attempt to vanquish old demons and summit a 6000m peak. It took me two weeks of acclimatization and four of the hardest days of my life to summit Nevado Chopicalqui, 6354m high. This is the story I want to tell.
