Somewhere in the mountain, in a totally abandoned Bulgarian village, an old woman is still living like no one else: working, cooking and enjoying life in slow and fluid motion. She remembers a few national catastrophes, a mass of cheating politicians and how desperately she loved one of them during the First World War. But she doesn’t remember either her age or her family name. Splendid!
