'De slapende arm' translated to English means 'the sleeping arm'; the series wants to criticize our rational world, in which we forget to feel.

The images are inspired by the philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty and the zooloog Desmond Morris, who both gain attention on the fysical aspect of our life.
