For several years, I instinctively and sporadically documented the complexity of a young US army sergeant veteran's love life; before, during and after her deployment to Iraq.Today, this study reminds me of some kind of investigative document. A research wanting to piece back together the emotional fabric of a conflict ridden subject. Love and War is the synthesis of all the narrative fragments I collected while hanging around Caroline Annandale for 8 years.
